It's KOOL To Care Campaign

In 1998, CHUM Radio launched a Public Service initiative to assist the numerous community organizations committed to making Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge a better place to live and raise a family. 105.3 KOOL FM believes in making airtime available for Public Service announcements, but this initiative is different. An entire month will be dedicated to a specific charity.
Each year, 105.3 KOOL FM receives hundreds of applications from Charities looking for exposure. A panel of judges sits down and decides upon 12 charities that will be awarded a month Long "KOOL To Care Campaign".
Each charitable organization receives an impressive package. A month long on air campaign highlighting the Charities objectives and needs, as well as promoting upcoming events that are fundraisers. Plus, a representative from each charity comes in and records a Community Minute. A one minute pre-recorded interview that deals specifically with events that the chosen charity wants the community to participate in to raise much needed funds.
